Developed a fault with mySQL database service (Resolved)

    • 10.00 PM - We have discovered a fault with the mySQL database service
    • 10.05 PM - We are proceeding to fix this fault 
    • 10:48 PM - We are still in process of fixing this fault
    • 11:05 PM - We are experiencing issues where the database is coming online and going back off again.
    • 11:45 PM - We are still in process of fixing the database service.
    • 3:05 AM - We have found the fix with mysql
    • 6:10 AM - We have progressed the fix, we are closing this ticket.
    • 8:10 AM - We are restoring databases
    • 9:30 AM - We have restored 40% of all customer databases
    • 4:03 PM - We are nearly finished fixing the database issue.
    • 7:36 PM - We are almost complete with 90% of customer databases.
    • 10:36PM - We have now restored 99% of customers databases. We have alerted customers who we are unable to restore.

    After a huge day of restoring databases on behalf of customers, we'll consider this closed. 

    Once we have an update for you, we will update this here. Please stand by, we are slowly fixing this database problem we are having.

  • 12PM  22/09/2018 - We are currently investigating an issue with httpd failure with the server.

    1:00 22/09/2018 -  We have identified the problem with the service.

    2:00 22/09/2018 - We are slowly bringing up services for our customers now. Please stay patient. 

    3:09 - 22/09/2018 - We are not facing any more reports after repairing the system. All service is operational.

  • There is a problem with the server, we are investigating this now. Over the course of the next few days we will be migrating this server over to a brand new E5 that we have in stock.

Network improvements (Resolved)

  • Affecting System - MSP-Core-Router / Core Switch

    Dear customer,

    Over the next 24 hours we will be making improvements to our network, during the night and during the day, the effected will be everyone located on MSP core switch 1, this improvement sees a better future for you as our customer, faster speeds, improvements to the current network lag.

    We've had reports from customers that some services are becoming slow during the night with not much load on the system/rates transmitted. We have investigated a way to improve performance across the board.

    We aim to finish these works within the next 24 hours and you will have access to better services within the future once placed. We will continue to keep this updated once we have started our phase 1 configuration. 

    Please note, if works does not complete as expected we will roll back the upgrade and you will have access to the services again without a failure, we will then make a new window complete works after more investigation.

    We have just rolled back network configuration as the new configuration we have placed failed, no customer services are down - We will continue testing our new configuration files before we place configuration into network again.

  • We are investigating a network issue on defaultservices server now. We aim to complete this task shortly.

    6:30PM UK time - An issue has happend with this servers networking

    6:46PM UK time - We are still investigating an issue with the network on this server, please bear with us.

    7:30 UK time - We have found the issue now we are applying a fix

    8:26 UK time - We have nearly brought up 90% of services, please bear with us while we bring up the rest.

    9:00 UK time - We only have to bring up 1 more service to complete this process

    9:30 UK time -- Services have been restored - if you do have a problem please do let us know
